Works great! Instead of dirt and the hopper minecart system, I used mud and hoppers.

Farm output is ridiculously slow. Seriously worthless compared to just planting a bunch of bamboo around your base and collecting when you need it. Going to have to build one of those bamboo sweeper farms because this isn't it fam. I added also a crafter to make bamboo blocks thinking it was going to be pumping them out decently but boy was I wrong. With the one cart system too makes filling up the crafter super slow (cart only drops 1 bamboo each trip around so even if you added say more bamboo you'd hit another bottle neck real quick).

Hey JC i built your farm in a cave. But the bamboo isn't growing .Is it the cave or is it because i built it on a mushroom island ?

Swap out the dirt for mud, and you can just throw a hopper under each of them. No hopper minecrart or rail needed, and the farm is shorter.

Okay I built this but some of the bamboo falls on top of the bamboo planted on the dirt and stays and the minecart hopper can't pick up

for whatever reason powered rail doesn't make the minecart gain speed i constantly have to be pushing it around
