i love the kind of creativity one can embrace when one isn't tied to making sure the protagonist of the story makes it out alive. i love that the main character can observe what happens to other unfortunate souls.

Man, as someone who struggles with Formication (a form of tactile hallucination where you feel maggots crawling under your skin), this is personally scary on SO MANY LEVELS

There is something about how some of these episodes link to other ongoing cases we know nothing about (so far, at least) but can make uneasy guess on that really grabs me. It makes the world it is in seem so much more present somehow.
