Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu: Original vs New Anime: How are they different?

The original anime takes a broader and distant approach with more focus on worldbuilding.
While, DNT, the new anime,, brings you in closer, and focuses more on the individual characters. The difference is mainly, about perspective.

Disagree. The original takes so much more time to develop the characters while DNT accomplishes it on a superficial level. Not to mention, the designs of the characters in the original are so much more memorable.

False. The original focuses more on both the characters and worldbuilding.

The original is a masterpiece. Even it the animation is dated and sometimes lacking.

Having watched both versions, i disagree with this statement, OVA version dedicated a lot of time building the world and the characters, compare to DNT which is polished and overly compressed version affected characters and audience experience.

And based what i found the major issue people taking on DNT was the CHARACTERS to due weird pacing of DNT

People who cling onto old versions of things are like Star War fans : never able to enjoy anything new then again with Disney at the helm of SW now can you blame them.

The new anime is better designed and less backage.

Due to having the habit of liking what I've watched first, I will always prefer the 1988's OVAs over the new version. And to be fair, the older version has better music (or at least it fits the atmosphere better than in DNT). Do you speak Spanish? It kind of feels like you do😅

And characters are still better in OVA.

The dnt focus on the book while the old added too many stuff not from the book. The dnt also fix by the author on certain things happen in the novel.
