Patty and Selma are my favorite characters. Even though that they're rotten to Homer and they're somewhat disgusting, I still love them. What I like about them is that, they are not scared to be who they are.

I really wish they would explore Patty and Selma's dynamic with Bart and Lisa. It seems they're one of the few people that can get both of them to behave.

Most people antagonize Patty and Selma just because they dislike Homer. They dislike him because they think he is not good enough for Marge (always putting the family in debts and other troubles). Homer hates them because of that, and because they are opposite of Marge, free women, not planning to be little wives and housewives like Marge. If you look closely, all they do irritates Homer, just the fact they are Marge's unmarried sisters who deep inside care for Marge's well being. They are not afraid to express their opinions, not being shy as Marge who is usually grounded by Homer and usually needs to solve his problems. So I would suggest Matt Groening to make a spin off about Patty and Selma.
