To Phillip the Psychologist: I disagree with the "work during baby nap" plan. Tutoring can be done after supper. It's a logical thing to do after school hours anyway. I think what happens here is you take the kids after you get off work, and that gives your wife some time to go over lesson plans and take a couple of tutoring appointments. She will need to give the work full attention, not hope that the baby sleeps at the right time, because they never do. This is how the two of you together can get through this with both of you contributing. I wish you the best of luck. It will be hard work but it's temporary and then you'll have those student loans gone and you can rethink the next few years.

Enjoyed the lesson on “cash on cash” returns on first call and on self employment retirement options on last call. Thanks Dave

I wish Dave had a little more compassion for women who have husbands that control the family money. It's easy for him to say do the right thing because " it's my way or the highway" won't hurt him. She may lose everything.

To the young man that took over the older gentleman's finances, set up a pre-paid burial plan for him at a funeral home you know you can trust. You could put any money from the surrender of those life insurance polocies toward this. Medicaid does have a maximum amount of cash that a nursing home resident can have and not affect their payment of expenses. They will take all, except a very small monthly amount, of his Social Security to "offset" the nursing home costs. That will go into his personal account at the nursing home. The personal account can be used to purchase new clothes, personal care items not furnished by the nursing home, a tv for his room, etc. When his account at the nursing home reaches the max cap for Medicaid, the nursing home will send a check to the burial plan. That keeps his Medicaid current and allows for his final expenses to be covered. I did this for my father and when he died all his funeral expenses were paid with money left over. I then split that evenly among my siblings and me.

Wondering how the guy who is so visually impaired he can’t drive would be able to be a real estate agent? How could you get around driving to different houses, closings, other meetings? Didn’t he say he was in NC? There’s no public transportation there.

Dave’s is so passionate about being debt free, he think it’s a good idea to pay off a 3% interest mortgage early. Popped a blood vessel in my eye hearing him call that financial advice.

Dave, I always feel like I'm being slapped when you say, "Oh my G.." and "Good G.." It doesn't sound like praising God it sounds like taking his name in vain.

Wow, that’s the dumbest inquiry I’ve heard in a while. Why not just wrap up the convo like he does everyone else when they rant on without asking a question?

What’s the point of being financially independent if we’re all just gonna die anyway? If you save a million in your lifetime with no children? What does living frugal your whole life even matter when you die? Why not just live life to the fullest and enjoy it? Do people really need to buy a house? Lolol

1:50:00 "Y'all are crazy" talk sounds like a shot to the LGBTQ community by Dave Ramsey. Guess what is crazy too Dave, owning all the guns that you own and trying to preach the Bible while at it. So...what morale ground do you have to speak on what is normal and what is considered crazy because you're right there with the "crazies".
