As someone who has had a problem with sports betting, the question of the day was the most hilarious segment of the Ramsey Show i can remember. Even on a good day i'm not that dumb to think it's ever a means of income. Even though he's $4k up with gambling so far, his $55k debt will turn into $100k real fast if he doesn't wake up.

DAVE- PLEASE STOP TELLING PEOPLE TO RIDE THE INDEX! Financial Advisor here! You say it’s highly unlikely for the market to go down by 10%? S&P is down 14, Nasdaq down 24%- we’re getting people reaching out in a panic that are down 20% right now in retirement because they were riding the market. PLEASE STOP! Money market is terrible but better than riding the S&P. We’re headed into the largest inflationary period we’ve seen since the 70’s and historically, the most expensive stocks get hit the hardest. You have overvalued companies at stock prices that don’t even make sense because no president since 2012/2013 has hiked fed rates to keep a handle on inflation. Clients NEED active investment advisers whose sole goal is risk management first and then growth. The Fed is hiking rates and people need to be incredibly cautious with real estate right now. Love your stewardship training but your investment/market advice is out of date. We’re headed towards a massive correction.
