Britain's great music-hall comedian, Frank Randle, stars as an accident-prone Private in his final film appearance. His mission is to save the delectable Corporal Diana Dors from the lecherous clutches of his Sergeant Major, played by Michael Brennan, and to steer her into the arms of another soldier.

This fast moving film features stars of the music hall days such as champion wrestler, Jack Pye and introduces the BBC Radio and TV star Winifred Atwell.
