I bought the JSAUX dock because I didn't want to wait, and it's been fantastic. I'm still blown away by the power of the deck. Playing Metal Gear Phantom Pain at 900p medium settings upscaled to 4k with FSR looks absolutely amazing, and hits a solid 60fps.

I actually don't even bother turning on my PC to play it because getting into the game is so much easier on steam OS and it looks almost as good.

I feel like the Steam Dock is just worth it for the convenience. You can't go wrong with official accessories. I'd go with the Anker if I didn't also want a stand to go with it, and I don't like having to carry a bunch of stuff. Already, i would be carrying a mini USB keyboard, a mouse, the deck and a dock.

Ya the Steam Dock with its firmware is going to be key for me. Valve programmers in charge of its firmware to iron out all the myriad of little issues that WILL crop up...plus another charger (not modular but Ill take it as a backup) and the display port is nice. For SD I just add my multi card reader to back of dock.

I'm going to use the dock i got my AYN Odin. That dock is dope and I hope the Gamecube and N64 ports work on it. The hard-drive enclosure built into the dock is nice as well.

Quick question, I've seen you're using the xbox controller, I'm using the same and mine keep disconecting with blinking lights, it's so frustrating, I've tried to update it but the problem persists...have you ever experiences something similar? How did you fix it?

Insightful video, appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts and experiences with the different docks and their pros vs cons. Would the Seagate Firecuda Gaming Hub 16TB work as a good hub? Thoughts about pairing a steam deck, dock and Seagate Fircuda together? Need all the opinions I could get. I'm planning on making a gaming room for my son, that uses a projector. Thank you!

Very strange not trying out an JSAUX HB0603 before making this video? Now that the JSAUX M.2 HB0604 is out that may be the top dog to compare the Steam Dock too. I got an extra HB0603 I am about to return to the company because my brother doesnt need it. Depending on how much JSAUX charges for me for shipping it back to them I could sell it to you and pay shipping it to you. I possibly then lose less money paying less shipping costs sending it to you? You could review it then? I want the M.2 HB0604 eventually.

I don't see why I would buy a dock for the steam deck. The little travel adapter I have for my ipad and galaxy zfold 4 supports 4k 60hz out, has a usb c for power, a headphone jack, a usb 3.1 for an external ssd or hard drive, and micro sd and sd card slots on it. It's the hyper drive Model HD319B. The usb port can easily be expanded to 4 different usb 2.0 slots for wired peripherals if desired, and the It can support like...10tb of external storage with 2 1tb sd cards and a 8tb external hard drive? And the entire adapter is like. 3 inches tall and one inch wide, and 1/4 an inch thick.

The steam deck dock is stupid.
