For anyone who can’t tell through the video, The dock works great but if you have a case on your Deck, it’ll probably not fit.

I grabbed a razer blade and took a few thin slices out of my case where the connector presses against, It works perfectly now. You can even lightly sand and touch it up but honestly, I don't even notice it.

Hmm, this is why I only used skins on top of my Steam Deck as protection measures instead of buying a bulky case.

I really recommend D-Brand skins, they got some really high-quality skins for your Steam Deck, durable enough to be proof of fingerprints and scratches while staying very light. Although the application process is a bit tedious to do perfectly.

Ive got a silicone sleeve case :) it only covers the right and left side of the deck. Of course the middle part now isnt protected, but for me who never drops electronics its a perfect fit :) protects the places i touch most and still fits the dock

I just the oficial dock whit rubber case I just cut in the midline to make to pieces look and work perfect

I had this issue, using the Benazcap kickstand case. A USB-C female to male short adapter solves this issue permanently :)

I love that the steam deck manages to be good enough to put on a big screen despite quite literally being in the laptop with integrated graphics class of hardware specs. Shows how far tech has come!

I’m sure you know but that case (looks like the kill switch) when purchasing you can buy the adapter kit as well for the dock that’s what I did at the least and everything works fine

I just wanna know if I can play shinobi striker on it, I mean if your able to play MW then I hope so, really debating on getting one cuz I have steam games and I’m not tryna buy more and the same games for a whole different console
