Fully agree. I live in Scandinavia (Norway), and our system is nothing like Finland's. Here the focus is still on grades and not actually on learning. My motivation of school should be on truly learning something, not on getting good grades. But that's how the system is designed for us, and the norm is just to follow it as it is.

Finland does not pay them as much as doctors in fact they make less than American teachers. They have a curriculum aimed toward PISA tests that exaggerates their performance.
