I'm from Finland and the thing about teachers is 100% true. The teachers are also very supportive. For example if a student is trying out a new style (we have no dress code) the teachers usually compliment it. This shows especially in middle school.

I've been in Finland as an exchange student, and it's totally correct. School is FAR better. It does require a bit more selfdiscipline and responsibility, but once you get used to it, you'll learn more, with less stress, and have far more fun.

In literary arts we literally learned about how Finland is way better than our education system and it kinda ticked me off because if we’re going to learn about it can’t we just do it?

Also me: procrastinates for 2 days
My homework: "Hey, you have 23 missed assignments and you can only do them all in 3 days. You also have to study for midterms as well as having 5 extra sheets of extra homework that gives you no extra credit."
