Not only is this NOT a "noob friendly" method (at least because of the schizo way in which you explain things), it is also very expensive. Your average "noob" such as myself isn't looking to spend hundreds of dollars to access jellyfin, which is a free service. Hard pass.

Great guide, I got it to work! But when I try to watch a movie on the go now, it tries to pull the full 4k stream which is wayyy to much for the connection. I set an Internet streaming bitrate limit, but that doesn't help.

I really appreciate the help with things like this, but anytime I watch videos like this there seems to be crucial information missing. Now that you get connected from a remote device, what IP address do you use to access your internal network? I cant access anything using the local IP or the IP on torguard. I am a noob to this but not a tech noob and I am confused right now.

Nah you can do it cheaper without using a VPN. Also, you can use no-ip to do port forwarding.
