Great video! super informative. I am wondering, I have JB water weld on my freezer converted cold plunge. However, now there are rust spots showing up throughout, including some overlap with the JB water weld sealed seams. Would you suggest sanding down all the water weld before adding the pond liner in this case? or dumping the pond liner over the water weld after sanding off all the rust I can see? I want to ensure the seams are sealed, but I also want to avoid any rust issues.

You have really good ideas, I have a sauna. I would like to have a cold plunge as well. I wish I had a room like yours.

Hello, after seeing so many videos, I really enjoyed yours since it had an approach i found very interesting. I have received a freezer that is embossed aluminum from the inside, and I wanted some advice before I invest in the materials. I was thinking of using JB water weld to seal the corners an such, and then using the pond shield epoxy. And I’m assuming I won’t have to scrub it with sandpaper since it’s already scruffy material. Does this sound ok? Since my freezer is embossed aluminum from the inside!

I just bought the pond shield. The inside of my freezer i is metal. Seems to be aluminum? What’s the best way to apply the pond shield?

I’ve build my own plunge and love it. Recently I’ve noticed dents or indentations in the floor where I stand to get out. Sort of a “high traffic” area. I’m worried about creasing or eventually a puncture. Any ideas on how to prevent this? Will the pond shield work? I was considering putting a piece of hard plastic on the bottom but would be interested in your suggestions. Thanks!

What was the hole in the bottom of the freezer for? I love your videos I have been looking for a good instructional video for my build. I am going to try and copy your build as best I can! Thanks so much.
