At stores where ypou can get paint mixed, limousine leather was the darkest black I could get. It was also good cause it didn't split into other colors.

If you want to create interesting "texture" in a moody hue...use black matte on an accent wall and paint stripes in black semi-gloss. Very beautiful and subtle without breaking monochromatic vibe.
