Setting up a VPN (Virtual Private Network) on your router is a great way to improve your digital security. You can protect an entire network by connecting all your devices to a VPN router: PCs, laptops, smartphones, smart TVs, and even consoles.

I think Routers should have the availability to add a VPN, and you choose your own service. Asus Routers come with Clients/Servers on them, up to the consumer if they wish to use that feature. I think Routers should have the ability to add 3rd party software maybe, like for some routers that do not have a VPN section at all on them. I tend to choose Asus routers for the enhanced features of the VPN section.
