2020 Cadillac XT6 | MotorWeek First Drive

Показать описание
The 2020 Cadillac XT6 is a three-row crossover that slides in between the full-size Escalade and compact XT5. The 3.6L V6 pumps out a respectable 310-horsepower and goes through a 9-speed automatic transmission. Two all-wheel drive systems are available including a Sport trim exclusive unit that uses an electronically controlled rear drive module to send torque individually to each rear wheel. We see how it all works together in our First Drive review.

Bruh everyone be hating on the car like they have driven it their whole life. But they haven’t even sat in one

The evolution of the Art & Science design language has been exhausted. Although I like this styling.

Once again GM is phoning it in, getting away with as little as they dare. And they wonder why sales aren't going up. Resale value of these things will be in the toilet. GM still thinks it's 1963 and there is no competition.

This luxury automaker scrambled this together. It’s unacceptable compared to the competition today. They should’ve just made this a smaller Escalade boxy and all.

Still using that POS 3.6 engine! What they should do is bring the 3800 back!

Saw the styling- had to double-check to see if this was a retro review from 2004

I have no brand loyalty but the Lincoln wins, this looks so anonymous.

Another four door crossover that will blend in with ALL the other four door crossovers when it drives off the dealer lot.

Is this vehicle sharing it's platform with the new Chevrolet Blazer?

The 2020 Kia Telluride is selling a lot and is mistakenly compared to the Cadillac XT6 with its looks.

I’m totally picking the Lincoln Aviator over this, it has more power, features, a much nicer interior, it’s a better buy. Also you can get a loaded up Kia Telluride or Hyundai Palisade for less money .

Here is the thing Caddy, take the badge off that thing and i would have no idea what brand made it, my guess would be KIA, for the past 2 decades Cadillac could not be mistaken for any other brand and as you will find out that was one of the attributes of this unnecessarily struggling brand, Caddies had unique styling ( your small SUVs look ackward but Were recognisable as Caddies ), handling, power, comfort but, need iron reliability which only Lexus has among your competition and competent advertising strategy which can't be bland/PC

You can get the same amount of power from european engines with almost half the capacity

This thing is such a failure and an embarrassment for GM compared to the Aviator. Their level of effort on this vehicle was lower than low and it shows.

No higher powered engine option? Derivative styling? Lackluster interior?

Why you'd buy this over ANY of the competition is beyond me. This thing is an also-ran at launch.

Hi MotorWeek. Do you have more retro episodes featuring 90s Korean cars?

I'm getting tired of GM using the 3.6 for everything

Oh don't worry, some 5'5" soccer mom that "Needs an SUV" will buy this.

You gotta remember people have no standards these days.
