Dude! You are unbelievable! You should be so proud of yourself! A man who works as hard as you do, and as consistently, leaves wealth behind for his children! Well done, you!

Heather and Brady, after reading through the comments this thought came to me that I want to share with you and everyone who shares your journey. Your sharing your journey with the world is doing something beautiful, giving birth to something far beyond yourselves. Do you realize you're bringing the world together to celebrate life, and beauty and goodness?? With all the "craziness" and hardship throughout the world you are weaving a tapestry of shared goodness, a celebration of the good and beautiful, with people from all over the globe! You've built a type of community. The "good" we are each left with from being blessed by your lives is enriching us, even if in small ways, which leads us to share that good with others. We all have more in common than the differences in cultures we are part of and the depth of common human experiences should be a uniting factor to build bridges of love and friendship throughout the world instead of division, hatred and war. I just wanted to share these thoughts of how you are, in a real way, helping the world become a better place by the gift of your lives. Thank you ❣❣

There are so many Brits and Americans moving to Italy, France, and Portugal to restore those stone buildings. The history of the buildings there are so much much older than ours are in America. Most are complete gut jobs. It is wonderful to see you young youtubers taking on this massive task and breathing new life into them. A job well done, much admiration.

I know they say the Germams are the pinnacle of engineering (Vorsprung durch Technik), but I do believe the Italians are the Masters of hand hewn, hand crafted, engineering...
From your stone masons to the blacksmith everything is finely crafted and just amazing!

Looking forward to what 2025 brings....

Hi
I'm the one who told you about filling the barrel and I'm pleased you took it on board, I hope its made a difference.
Having spent so much time as a stone Mason it's good to see how it differs from country to country although the trimming as we call it is Done by a specialised hammer and what we call pitch tools and I'm sure it could make a huge difference to you if you could adopt the same method, however I could only explain by drawing and emailing the drawings to you .
Any black Smith can make these tools and while there not to dissimilar to what your using now they do a better job.
Also when your doing a lean in type build without buttresses then another word of advice from a safety prospective is to do what we call rises so each rise is leveled at 18 inches so you would build 18 inches and level of the rise then start again and the reason for this is it stops the wall from ballooning should the bank subside in the future or get a build up of water so its less pressure over a large area and it also looks nice.
Please don't think I'm interfering because what you have achieved is frikin amazing, you should be so proud of yourself.
Keep up the good work
Jon

The blacksmith section was very interesting!!!! Is it not wonderful there are still places in the world where people, real craftsman, develop and use these hand made skills!

You should incorporate some sort of water feature in your outdoor area. The sound of running water is so relaxing.

I have watched Raising Voyagers since day one. I have renovated many houses in my life and appreciate the amount of vision required to undertake a project of this size. Really, after many months I couldn't see if it would be worth it, the time it took and skill and patience needed to pull this off is truly remarkable, and now taking on the mountain and creating the terrace. Voyagers I take my cap off to you, you really have nailed this...

Outdoor fireplace/oven/grill is what it seems to me. Whatever it is I know it will be amazing. I was so very delighted to get my coffee after church, sit down and find a Sunday video!!! Thank you Heather!!😘😘 I assume these were done some time ago given the green grass. I was also so very delighted to see Carlos and Allessio again! (hope I got their names correct). I thought with the house interior finished we might not have the pleasure of watching them work with you, Brady. It is somewhat mesmerizing to watch the stones get prepared and placed as you all build these walls. Brady you are developing your skills! Maybe they'll hire you once your project is It was so beautiful to see the night view of the valley with the church lit up. What a breathtaking view you have from your home! Thank you so much Brady and Heather for sharing this journey with the world. This is better than the "junk" on tv!! I pray you have a truly blessed Christmas and a new year filled with joy and blessings in abundance. Please give the girls hugs and and my good wishes for the holidays. Sending much love 💙💙💜💜❤❤

No, not only an outdoor kitchen and BBQ area... I think a lovely patio section will be added with outdoor furniture which will add to beauty and a way to relax and enjoy the views. 😊
