Finally someone on YouTube that understands juicing! This is the only video I’ve found that has real knowledge about juicing! I work at an organic juice bar and I can verify that all of what she has said is true!

I feed my pulp to my hens,  who give me great organic eggs and the Beta-
carotine gives me the best yellow yolks.

I purchased an Omega J8006 masticating juicer and couldn't be happier. I've been juicing a couple times a week now for over two and a half years. I love the juicer in winter months when I get cabin fever!

My favorite juice is: 2 Granny Smith apples, 2 medium/small beets, 1/2 lemon, and 1/2 inch ginger = it tastes just like pink lemonade!

You could mix the pulp with spices and black beans to make a bean burger. Mix in some flax too and oatmeal.

The extra peeling can be used if you make compost for your garden

Whenever we juice carrots at home I use the pulp for carrot cake :D

When I juice I'll take the veggie pulp and add it to my tub of extra bits and pices of left over veggies in the freezer to make Hobo Soup. Its just whatever would get tossed together to make a veggie/bean soup, the extra carrot pulp gives it a thickened consistancy more like chowder! So one night you might have a tiny bit of green beans left, add em to the tub, the next night a bit of corn is left, add it to the tub, the next some asparagus, add that too! Its just like making a free meal with stuff you'd probably discard, we used to make it like once a month or so, adding whatever else to pump it up with some with popatoes, cabbage, all sorts of beans, ect.

I told my spouse that I wanted to do a juice cleanse and the next day he bought this exact juicer. I was not sold on it due to the price but I'm glad to hear that it's worth it. Arrives in 5 days!

The pulp is good for composting as well.

It's important to understand that fructose from fruit is absolutely nothing like fructose associated with high fructose corn syrup. They have nothing to do with one another. Fruit sugar gets a bad wrap for no reason, and it's sad because fruits are our natural food source as human beings.

Compost with that pulp! A great way to return to the earth what it gave to us.

You could use the pulp as compost for an organic garden :)

Excellent video Dani.... I btw use the pulp as a vegetable broth, by adding double the amount of water than pulp, with some onion, different herbs and spices... turns out really useful in soups! ;)

Dani, I love your videos. I don't have a juicer I blend my produce until is super liquid and then I strain it a bit so it's less thick. The kids won't drink it all if I don't strain it. But I find it so much richer when it is blended. The little extra pulp goess on the soil as plant food. Mix it up in one place to make a rich compost.

Hi, You should add a lemon, celery and turmeric to your juice and you would increase the nutritional value and it will taste better.

I bought my juicer about 5 years ago or so, but I only started being able to juice more recently. I was always worried about what to do with the pulp. I finally bought both a dehydrator and a food processor that have given me the ability to not feel so wasteful with it. I take the pulp from my juicer for a few different things - for the sweeter stuff, I put it into bread or muffins. The veggie stuff gets made into crackers in my dehydrator or is added to my spaghetti sauce to thicken it and give some extra fiber. I work in a store with baby food, and I actually got the idea to put some of the pulp in homemade ravioli. Still haven't done that yet, though.
