Blending vs Juicing 101 | All You Need to Know

What is the difference between juicing vs blending- Blending vs Juicing 101. Juicers and blenders are both great ways to add more nutrition to your diet but there is some key difference.

The main difference between blending vs juicing:

When juicing, you can drink the nutrients of the fruit/veg in one glass since the pulp/fibres remain. Your digestive system gets a break because there are no solids to break down.
In addition, the pomace does not have to end up in the trash, it can be used for all kinds of recipes such as vegetable crackers, use in cakes, and much more.

Blending keeps foods whole. Smoothies leave nothing behind - you drink all the fruit/veg. Depending on your preference, you can make pure fruit or vegetable smoothies or add almond butter and the like for healthy fats and other nutrients.
Smoothies are richer and more filling. Smoothies, while easier to digest than solid foods, are not as cleansing/detoxifying as juices.

If you really feel like your digestion needs a big "cleansing break" Juice Cleanse and you want to drink a lot of nutrients at once, then the juice is better.

“All the vitamins, nutrients, and minerals are in the juice.”

Uhhh no they’re not. That is a really blatant lie.

blending is almost always better for health benefits than juicing. unless you’re cooking something that requires juice without the pulp, always opt to drink the pulp as well

Fiber is important. Your gut microbes need it to produce certain nutrients that are difficult or impossible to find elsewhere. Fiber acts as fuel stabilizer in the gut by moderating the absorption of calories. It is also important for helping you feel full and satisfied with fewer calories.

The gut contains the most nerve endings after the brain. And several gut microbes produce important neurotransmitters and their precursors when they are fed fiber.

The healthiest part of whole fruits and vegetables is the the whole fruit and the whole vegetable! Don’t toss out your fiber!

Juicing sounds objectively less healthy than blending. You're taking out a majority of the fiber that is a key component of gut health. And they amount of time you digest it doesn't really matter, a bunch of BS

The pulp has all the FIBER while the juice is SUGAR and will give you energy BUT make you crash a few hours later!! Blending is truly best!

The liquid is where all the sugar is.

When you take out the pulp, you also remove the fiber that would prevent your blood sugar from spiking. The energy you get from juicing is a sugar rush that makes you more likely to crash later on.

Fun fact about juicing: you're actually making it worse for your body blood sugar-wise.

You see the sugars in plants are encased in fiber: which are hard and insoluble, but they slow down sugar absorption, not to mention it satiates you more and keeps your insulin levels from spiking.

Now take the fiber away, and you're left with sugars. You're mainlining sugars in your system, causing you to have insulin spikes and making your body work to equalize that blood sugar. You might as well drink Tang because at least you're honest in drinking just the sugar portion of a vegetable/fruit.

When I had a juicer I would keep the pulp and make veggie nuggets with them. It was mostly carrots and celery.

Except most people dont have enough fibre in their diet, which is an important part of cleaning your intestines and controlling cholesterol

I was told to use what you have.
Benefits in both. Just get it in... don't stop just get it in.
Is better than not getting it in❤❤

Because you get less liquid when juicing people add more and end up with tons of sugar. Blending you still get the whole ingredient which is way better.

“All the good stuff is in the liquid”
Fiber: “huh”

This guy should be a politician, cause he either likes to lie to people, or is stupid. Either one fits the qualification

Dude really said that you get more benefiy from removing half of veggie 😂

For all you nerds that think the fiber is removed when juicing. Think again:, juicing typically retains soluble fiber, while removing insoluble fiber. Soluble fiber, which dissolves in water, remains in the juice, while insoluble fiber, which doesn't dissolve and adds bulk, is mostly removed as pulp

"Incredible benefits when juicing" oh boy let me tell you 😂

Absolutely, when you're juicing you're getting rid of all the fiber, a component very essential for our body. So, always blending than juicing.

These replies are hilarious! Juicing & blending also has its benefits. You can juice, blend, and eat your veggies all in the same day if you want to. They all have their different benefits, depending what your goals are. It exists for a reason. Nobody ever said juicing/blending was better or eating it was better… It’s not a big deal, y’all always wanna get so scientific with your replies. Just let ppl do wtf they want. Geez!!!! This is for the ppl who want to juice & or blend. If that’s not you, keep it moving!!!!

The juice goes through your digestive system quicker. Sounds like a polite way to say our product will give you diarrhea.

I stored and freeze the pulp and use it to make soup... I'm not against blending...but you also dilute the juice with water...I believe we should not go crazy either way...take it easy and enjoy your life....

Actually, in something like celery, nearly all benefits come from the fiber, nearly none from the juice
