Great advice. My brother didnt go the military route like I did, he had perfext grades most of college and still didnt get into vet med school. What you told this kid is dead on. That shit is competitive as fuck and only the smart survive lol

You can offset a mediocre gpa like a 3.0 with a really good mcat and life experiences, I know some people who got 4.0 and a 515 mcat and still didn’t get into med school cause they had no personality or no experiences to show they actually had what schools want, grades are only meant as a indication that you wont fail the curriculum when you do the boards and all that, its only a mid level priority from my experience, as someone who had a 503 mcat score and is currently in residency lol

C student here and im a doctor.... dont know shit about chemistry, or biochem, i used to know alot of anatomy (for like 1 yr). I do telehealth assessments for BluChew customers

That may be true in the military, but its only kinda true in that context in my opinion. Thats kinda true about getting into med school, but test scores and other things can help thay a lot. In actual medical school, or any school or program that is the end of the road, you dont need a's to be a doctor. Most programs require a C in major related classes to pass. Some require B's.

I have to do post bacc I was young dumb and reckless in undergrad and I want to know if the military will let me join finish post bacc and go to med school or if I need to get accepted to med school first.

If you want to be a doctor or lawyer you need to start taking Latin in middle school and continue all through college. For a doctor, Jake is 100% correct, all the advance science courses are necessary to become a doctor...every single one.

You can get a few Bs, but then you have to have some legit letters of recs and internships. Become a tutor!
