to be fair, running out of stamina didnt stop you from running in morrowind. it just meant you'd be out of breath if combat started, which would be _very_ bad.

The Critic is so underrated and did the cutaway jokes before Family Guy but incorporated it better into the script due to the show being based around a critic of movie/Hollywood stuff

Just a PSA for anyone here who hasn’t played Morrowind yet: Don’t let Athletics be your dump skill, and travel light if you can, otherwise you won’t even make it to Balmora before you quit the game out of anger and frustration.

Ah, I have fond memories of having my Oblivion character swim laps between the Imperial City and Bravil as soon as their Athletics reached 85. I found that being efficiently fast was just as important as achieving the ability to box a Minotaur to death while you "stick and move."

Few people know this but if you drink enough skooma in morrowind you become as fast as sonic the hedgehog and can cross the entire continent in just seconds.

Except in Morrowind, you can go so fast you clip through the world and fall into the void. You are not limited.

Also, Morrowind let you truly feel the power as you got stronger. You start off so weak, and every level really feels like you're getting powerful until you reach godlike levels of destruction.

I hope TES6 has athelicts again, implementing some verticality to the game would be super cool for rogue characters, finaly being able to jump from roof to roof and doing assasin type stuff
