How DEADLY Is The REDBACK SPIDER?? #spider #wildlife

The redback spider is Australia’s native widow spider and they certainly live up to their name! They are equipped with a powerful neurotoxic venom that they use to procure their prey and defend themselves from predators. Despite this though, they’re quite timid and quick to flee at the first sign of danger rather than stand their ground and bite. Have you ever heard of the redback spider?

Ive been bitten twice, the first time was almost unbearable, my muscles were all cramped, my lower back hurt so bad I thought my kidneys were failing, I was shaking and freezing cold with a high fever, I really hated life for 2 days. My last bite didnt cause any effect on my body, the bite swelled and itched a little like a mosquito bite but that was the extent of my symptoms, thank God.

Basically adults who are bitten and not allergic to spiders won’t die, but you will be in pain for a 3-4 days (Without medical treatment). BUT YOU WILL DIE FROM AN INFECTION IF YOU DO NOT GET THE PROPER TREATMENT 😅
