Little tip for everyone in the comments for the first problem, dividing both sides by ln7 is MUCH easier. No need to over complicate things.

I got the same answer but I divided both sides by ln7. It skips the whole having to distribute part, then you can simplify the lns with a calculator and solve for x.

Why did you distribute instead of just dividing both sides by the ln(7)?

when i put a number in front of ln on my calculator it tells me error
