What do highly effective leaders actually DO?

Is there a better way to gain influence and lead others? How do we become better leaders? In this episode of The Charged Life, filmed in one take without prompter or notes, high performance coach and motivation legend Brendon Burchard shares the six practices of effective leadership. This is great leadership training in eleven minutes.

Brendon Burchard is a #1 New York Times bestselling author whose books include THE CHARGE, THE MILLIONAIRE MESSENGER, and LIFE'S GOLDEN TICKET. As the founder of High Performance Academy, the legendary personal growth training for achievers, and a prolific blogger on the topics of motivation and personal development, Brendon has become one of the most followed trainers of our time, with over one million fans on Facebook alone. For these works, Larry King named Brendon "one of the top motivation and marketing trainers in the world."

After a car accident at 19 years old inspired him to turn his life around and follow his dreams, and then having the blessings to become a multimillionaire writer and trainer by the age of 32, Brendon has dedicated his life to helping others find their charge and share their voice with the world.

1. Envision: what should tomorrow looks like to my team? If there is no vision, there is no leadership. If there is no vision, people will verish.
2. Enlist: list yours and others dreams to build the vision together
3. Embodying : how they treat people? What we say and how we behaving. Demonstrate and potray what we are really believeing.
4. Empowering: we give people the authority to make decision and we give them trust. Allow them to succeed. Equip the team consistently.
5. Evaluate: evaluate the people with us (the contribution, the needs, the ethics)
6. Encourage: always motivating, inspiring, uplifting people. Continually.

Collaborators not followers.

One of mentors stated "I credit my success to surrounding myself with the best people". This is a great message for business leaders, community leaders and leaders in the home.

this video gave me the motivation to reach my dream, many people put me down but i always got up, i looked at the bright side. people called me a looser, a follower, but i always got u and came to school everyday with a smile. now what does that make me?
after this video i realized, I'm a leader.
no one would ever put me down, I'll always stand up and I'll never fall. this is my life, and it'll always be mine, no one can stop me not even my parents. I wont do what i can, ill do what i need.

The best advice I ever got from Brendon Burchard at one of his live
events was just get started!
Even if when we start we are terrible at it just do it and get better as
we are moving forward. Took his advice when starting my own Youtube
channel.
The first 30 videos I am so embarrassed by but it's finally to a level I
am feeling confident with and getting better every week by learning
from others and the skills along the way. Thank you Brendon for the
inspiration.

I love your bold enthusiasm, your frameworks and alliteration to make the concepts memorable. And your confidence and how you end ... on a crescendo!

I discovered this channel through the add, and the video explained what my problem was, I really love this channel it's very inspiring and helpful. My problems may not be big to others and make no sense to others too but they're challenges this channel has helped me through. Thank you😁

It is interesting how so many qualities of leadership run into conflict with need. Many managers get so focused on trying to "motivate" their staff they end up missing what would have them demoralized in the first place. A poor environment, personal stress, a lack of direction. A manager can take huge steps to being more "motivational" just by being more empathetic.

This is fantastic. This is exactly how I want to lead! Very inspiring! Reminds me exactly of our executive director for a non-profit where I sit on the board. 100%
