I usually fill in the blanks related to education, work history, etc, with "if you're not gonna read my CV and Resume then dont waste my time." Surprisingly few jobs have mentioned it in interviews even jobs i got

I made it to a Medical Director position interview only to find out half way through the face to face that the position didn't exist and that they were hiring for a completely different position. I thanked them for wasting my time and left.

IF you get an interview, HR will schedule it at 11am so you have to take the whole day off. They'll make sure NOT to check if the hiring manager will be in for the day they make you come in so you can say do you have any questions about the job. Basically their only reason for the interview was to see if you are a female, trans or minority so they can tell the hiring manager they found the best candidate. Now we'll schedule another mid day interview with a person that actually does something for a living.

Same process over the last 30 years.
Staff knows if you're a good fit the moment you walk in the door.

Seriously, and them asking you for like the exact time of day that you clocked in for your first shift at your first job, why would I remember that and why would it be useful in your decision making process?

Yeah none of this happens anymore. I just got a job after not working for 10 years. There was no interview at all. The computer auto selected me cause i was able to work the shift needed. I went in for an "interview" and there wasnt one.

They pluged my name into a background check and litterally said if you pass the background check, you have the job. A week later i had the job. It was honestly the most dysotopian experience ive ever had. I was hired by a computers selection criteria... i still have an issue with it. But honestly no human would have ever given me a job, so im kinda lucky.
