Thank goodness everyone I meet is named “my friend” or “brother” or “chief”

You just need to take an ice bath after every person you meet, and you’ll remember perfectly

The simplest way - just remind yourself to repeat the name a couple of times in your head after you meet the person, has greatly helped me

It’s very important to remember people’s name. If you approach them with their name they feel important. It’s such an important thing to do.

what I do is after they introduce themselves, Ill say “nice to meet you *their name*” I found that helps pretty well in remembering their name

I forget people's names literally in 1 sec. I'm going to try this.

I'm very very bad with names. What I've learned is usually if i repeat the name twice, best is once right after getting it and then again after a couple comments or listening a bit and then saying it once more, that way it drills a bit deeper. I find this method really helps ME.

Spell out their name when they say it. Then ask them if you spelled it correctly. You are showing respect through trying to correctly remember their name.

I just call them whatever I think they're called with a lot of confidence 😂😂

Make eye contact or make sure you are looking at them. Say their name multiple times in your head. Do this for at least 7 seconds. Greatly helps

Dude, at this point I am happy if I know what I am supposed to do with my life.

Most functions I used to go to they had little pads and pencils that when you meet somebody you just write down their name from the name tag, and what they did in what state, and it was just a little pad and pencil that's slipped onto the little pad book, so that you always remember people's names during the conference and everybody could talk and relate to one another better, now I see a lot of people doing that with their phones, and but most conferences still got those little pads books when you check in to get your name tag, so that you can write down little notes if you need to remember people's names during the conference, and afterwards for work.
