10 TIPS:

1) Start with a clean work space
2) Prepare things first
3) Chop veggies fairly small (throw in the pan harder veggies like carrots first)
4) A higher protein source (optional) Tofu, tempeh, beans or lentils.
5) Cook onion, garlic and spices using low heat
6) Add a little water to prevent food from sticking to the pan
7) Cook the rest of the veggies medium- high heat (throw in the pan harder veggies like carrots first)
8) Stir often
9) Serve on a bed of whole grains and beans
10) Add garnishes to taste (guacamole, hot sauce, etc)

One of the most helpful aspects of your channel was definitely seeing you do all that meal prep and realizing that you were eating way more vegetables than I was and I was eating way more white rice than you were. it made me start thinking about how to get better results and why eating so much white rice wasn't necessarily the best move based on my goals. I still eat white rice, sometimes lots of it but now I eat a lot more vegetables. Ivan B another great YouTuber also helped me in this same way. Seeing people eat more vegetables than you is almost like a challenge to come up to their level.

Thanks! Many great tips unlike a gazillion others on YouTube. My stir fry came out super thanks to you; I modified the sauce as I didn’t have maple syrup and acv -used lemon juice and a tsp of sugar- it went very well with the veggies. Thanks again :)

Hey Derek, my wife and I made it tonight for Dinner! It was delicious. For a dressing- my wife mixed hummus, water, hot sauce & soyaki. We drizzled it over. Man was it good.

I make pickle hummus for my kids sandwiches for school, but it turns out it is amazing on potatoes, chilli, dip and can be the base for a salad dressing. I put on stir fry and it’s really good but I haven’t mastered the stir fry thing I will have to try your dressing mixed with my hummus and see what’s I eat lol. Thanks 😀

I stir fry all my veggies on same heat including onions and garlic imo still taste real good. But I'll keep that in mind to low heat the garlic and onions with spices. Ty again!
