But, but, but Alex, you didn't suggest I should get an SD card or a screen protector. WTF AM I GOING TO DO!!

Weird how this wasn't clickbait and was actually useful information. Not used to this, especially in the Deck space.

Here is another pro tip I haven't seen anyone mention: If you run out of space on your internet storage, you can move a folder to your sd card and create a link(/shortcut) from the original path. The system will continue to act like that the folder was on the original path but physically it's no longer there using your storage.

Great tips video! I like seeing people making tips and tricks videos for advanced users as well as new users of the steam deck! I've been making content on the steam deck for a little while now and even I learned something new from this video. Great work!

I think some basic terminal tool tutorials could be a good idea for steam deck users. Things like symlinks can be so useful and very versatile. Eg a symlink for your boot animations in your home documents folder could be very valuable, or a symlink for a highly moddable game in your documents folder

I'm gonna be ordering my steam deck sometime this week. I've been watching a ton of videos to get amped up and get prepared. Your video is by far the best one I've seen. VicariousNick did a pretty good one too but yours definitely goes a lot more in depth. All the other videos are just "Buy a case, buy a screen protector, you gotta get an SD CARD!" Two thumbs up, and a sub.

Lutris also supports the use of AMD FSR on all games, you will have to use proton ge, or lutris-wine to enable it's support and you have a toggle switch in your lutris game settings

I've watched so may tip videos on steam deck today since I've just got one. Things by far the best. You didn't repeat the same 10 things everyone else does and you went so much more indepth with why you reccomend things. Earned a new subscriber and I'll be turning to you for a lot.

5:01 There's an equivalent of disk analyser that runs on native KDE called 'Filelight', which also integrates well with KDE and Dolphin. When you click on the space left on the bottom right of Dolphin window, it shows the option for Filelight too.
