They failed my wife in this spot for this. But she didnt break the law. She continued straight so she didnt cross the solid line. They still failed her for not following directions... but there wasn't enough time once seeing the road layout to safely go right... useless Kelmscott testers.

I did something similar like this on my test I was in the turn right lane and needed to go straight, I turned my blinker on and merged when the light went green and traffic let me in. They didn’t even take a point from me from that action! Very surprised

yea n sometimes the examiner will say at the last second to go the opposite way in order to test weather youve paid attention to the written exam & if your willing to cut off other traffic or just goto the next appropriate place to either go in that direction or do a uturn…. If you cut at the last second its an automatic fail, just like a highway if you miss your turn you goto the next 1….

Turn right, get into the right lane, to late to do so. Stay in the left and go straight, bro turn right up ahead on a side road😉👌
