In this video we explain how to set up and how to use azure backup to protect your virtual machines. We have other videos explaining and demonstrating how to restore single files from an Azure VM but this video demonstrates how to restore an entire virtual machine.
You might need to restore an entire virtual machine back to what it was in the past for a number of reasons including patch cycles that didn't work out. Also if you have upgraded something on a virtual machine and blown it up having an Azure backup of that vm to restore from is a lifesaver.
