For whoever it didn't work, just delete the driver, it'll ask you to restart the pc, do it and then reconnect your device and it should work :D

Everything is very nice and clear, but what if instead the printer after a reset (ricoh SP 211) is no longer recognized at all and by Unknown Device SP 21NW?
Following the procedure obviously gives no results, not even reinstalling the driver.
I think the printer should be thrown away, if a device no longer communicates with the OS no program or solution will work.
