Pokemon Sword And Shield Endgame - What To Do When You Beat The Game

Once you become the Champion in Sword and Shield, you unlock the Battle Tower, a post-game quest, and more. Here's a list of everything you can do when you finish the game. Pokemon Sword & Shield are available now exclusively on Nintendo Switch.

Pokemon Sword and Shield have finally arrived on Nintendo Switch. Like previous games in the series, your ultimate goal in the Gen 8 titles is to become the Pokemon League Champion, and to do so, you'll need to travel around the Galar region, catching and raising Pokemon, battling rival trainers, and collecting eight Gym Badges. Your journey isn't over once you're crowned the champion, however; there's still plenty to do in the new Switch Pokemon games after you've conquered the Pokemon League.

In the video above, we discuss some of the post-game activities that await you after you've cleared the main storyline in Sword and Shield. These include an additional story quest, which has you trying to stop two doofuses named Sordward and Shielbert before culminating in a chance to catch the Legendary Pokemon Zacian or Zamazenta. There are also several gift Pokemon you can claim from various NPCs, and you can test your battling skills at the Battle Tower, where you can earn Battle Points to purchase some incredibly useful items.

when are we gonna get a real post game like in black/white2? that shit had TONS of legendaries, twist mountain + the new driftveil area + the rest of the unova map, the pokemon world championship, etc

Remember when Pokemon Platinum ended and it would challenge you to fill the Sinnoh pokedex which would then unlock a whole island with lots of places to explore and pokemon to catch and even a small story to find Heatran in the Stark mountain. That island also had a little house where you could rebattle stronger versions of the gym leaders and other strong trainers throughout the games. This would also change the pokemon league into a higher level more difficult one. And to top it all off there was the whole Battle Frontier.

The "post game" in SnS includes an hour long story mission which leads you to catch the box legendary pokemon, something that has usually been included in the main story itself or made you find it by yourself from the region anyways. What a joke.

Pikachu, Blastoise, Decidueye, Lucario, Gengar, Tyranitar, and Flygon all team up and travel back to each Pokémon Generation to gather the 6 Infinitystones to bring back every mon from the Gamefreak Snap.


Charizard finds out and tries to stop it by fusing with all of the other Charizard forms to become Super Perfect Charizard

When all hope was thought to be lost, a portal opens to reveal all of the dusted Pokémon including starters: Sceptile, Infernape, Samurott, Greninja, And Typhlosion.

The battle ensues and Blastoise sacrifices himself to defeat Charizard’s final form

The National Dex is brought back. Junichi Masuda and Charizard gets snapped away

I miss the good old days where I wasnt treated like an illiterate fetus with an attention span of an eggplant and games had no explanation for anything.

Was just playing super metroid and half the battle of getting new upgrades was trying to figure out how to flockin use them cos the game wont tell you lol.

Or how about pokemon R/B/Y where if you didnt talk to that ONE guy at that ONE rest stop you would never get the TM flash and you'd have to suffer the depths of pitch black tartarus to get to lavender town.

Imagine there is a small island that we can explore after beating the game to battle against strong opponent as well as catching legendary and prev gen pokemon that would be super cool😉 this game is actually amazing with the wild area but sadly is way too short, it took less than 20hours to beat this game tho

Just a simple vs. seeker would’ve made this game a little bit better. Also being able to rematch the gym masters at their respective stadiums would’ve been nice since that’s the best song this game has.
