So the game just doesn’t give you much experience right. You play battles at gyms and just DONT get that much experience. Which is why I’m gonna teach you how to get a LOT of experience. Because you see, experience sharing just isn’t good enough to get you a lot of experience. So I’m gonna tell you guys how to get a lot of experience so you can get to level 100. Personally, I've never really been a fan of breeding, so sword and shield has been ranked pretty high on my list, just because it isn't necessary for a competitive Pokemon. Yeah it's probably faster and more efficient, but I get more enjoyment finding any sort of regular Pokemon, and turning it to the best it can be instead of throwing aside the ones that aren't good enough and trying for the perfect one.

Also they’re really pushing competitive so much, and I love it. I’m not using dittos, but also you can make any Pokémon viable for competitive now!

My main issue with the exp share in this game is that whenever you get exp from a pokemon, you get their EVs, and that ruins a lot of the spreads I want to work for, it doesn't matter if you fainted a mon o catched it, you still get the EVs. I really do not like that

I’m so happy bc I caught a 5iv Cursola last night, and that was the last member I needed for my competitive team! Now I just need to grind levels, battle tree, train for max evs, hyper train a total of 6 stats for perfect ivs, and the nature mints! I’m ready verlisify!

I currently got my Grimmsnarl Aku to Level 62 with lots of training and lots of EXP Candies. And I’m not even to the fifth gym yet.

You can just battle chancy's in the wild on the island of armor if you're that desperate for XP if not then just go somewhere in the game where there's difficult and high level Pokemon at those should maximize your odds of getting XP

Also I've never really liked the Dynamax dens. I gave them a try the first time because of the exp candies, but things got boring fast. For starters the dynamax pokemon are always setting up barriers. I noticed that they don't do this in the dens in the Dynamax Adventures thing in the Crown Tundra so I managed to get all of the legendaries in Shield without being bored to death.

The exp candies are good and all, but getting them is just plain boring and not fun. So I prefer Chancey grinding and Galarian Star Tournament/basic tournament battles when leveling Pokemon.
