Will the Apple Watch read the power data from the Garmin HRM Pro?

I just got a polar h10 today, so if I have everything paired correctly, and go do a run for example, the heart beat reading will be coming from the polar h10 ? Will the data from the workout using the apple fitness app also transfer over to the polar app? Thanks.

Only ask bc if I start the workout from the polar app on the watch, there doesn’t seem to be a stop button to end the workout

I went to a garmin shop today, they said if I don't have the garmin watch, it only saves start and end freq.
