I am currently taking the CPC self-guided prep course through AAPC. No medical background, just started from ground 0. Was doing pretty well navigating the chapters with just the ICD-10-CM, but am struggling with integrating the CPT into my knowledge bank. Nearly decided to give up, but I came to YouTube as a last ditch effort and found you! Hopefully this will give me an extra boost to break through my learning deficit. It is helpful that there are so many notes in the ICD-10-CM to guide making the proper code selections. But, I feel like in the CPT there's a lot of guesswork behind when modifiers are necessary. It's a little overwhelming, but I will continue to watch your videos and hopefully it resonates with me soon. 😊
