I’m ashamed of myself... I’m black and don’t have not one African map at my place. I need to step my black up... 🤦🏾‍♂️

Her primary identity is not Black or White… It’s Narcissist.

People were also upset because she was faking hate crimes against herself. She also got a black man to play her father. It wasn't just her identifying as a black woman. The issue is more of a lack of integrity.

She seems genuinely connected to African culture and her work reflects it. I just wish she realised that she can love that culture, do good work for the community, raise black children while still being a white woman. I hope one day she realises that it’s OK to be white because that part of her won’t change no matter what.

I'm confused, just say you are white and enjoy black culture, everyone else does.

The Same Would Apply to Transgenders. But Black folks have NO Problem accepting them identifying as someone they are Not. But Yall BIG Mad at Rachel who has done more for Black people than any Transgender. Thats what's Messed UP!!

Seriously, being fascinated by a certain culture and wanting to be part of it is not wrong at all. But hating yourself or the culture you were born into mostly points to some deeper psychological problems.

This is hilarious, the lady loved black culture so much she wanted to be black. Then she got black balled by the black community

I’m really glad she’s so into black cultures, as a black person it’s somewhat flattering. But on the other hand, she needs to realize it’s OKAY the be a white person with an interest in black culture. You can do all the hair stuff, learn a language, the history, get the decorations… but it’s okay to say you’re white.
