My top guide lines when training for a 10k. Remember your not training for a sprint but an endurance event. This requires more strength work and a good amount of hill running and mileage. There's too much main-stream crap out their on 10k training which involves doing nothing that will help you become a good runner. great videos I'm a 17:30 5k runner as of now hoping to hit sub 17 tomorrow morning. My Mile repeats are around 5:20 trying to get them into the 4:45 areas. any other tips for a non vegan runner???

28 min 10K!? WOW!! That's insane!! How can you log 140-160 MILES / week without getting injured? I can barely run 80-90 km / week before starting to get aches and pains in my joints. Every time I tried hitting 100-110 km I got injured. It sucks.

Are the 30x400m / 10x1km /and 6x1 miles all seperate sessions?
