Leaders don't just delegate, they also take responsibility for failure. If a task isn't complete and it effects the group it's the leaders job to find out what went wrong and why, then fix it. They don't just sit around and boss others around, leaders will often be a part of the most physically demanding tasks to prove they are worthy of the role, by doing so they show the others that they are also putting the group before themselves. It is also their job to make sure all the independent tasks the group perform mesh together and actually work like parts of a machine.

That's how animals work, it's why our military leaders in history were string warriors, it's why ancient man put the strongest most fearless member at the top.

Because strength breeds success.

The leader allocates the resources for the survival of the group. Women had no leader so when things failed they just fought amongst each other because nobody took responsibility.

The most competent man is always the leader not to give orders but to guide others and is rewarded with respect and some benefits like extra food.

A ruler is just a stronger and mean man that will force others to do stuff for him with no benefit for they.

Women will always try to convince others to do stuff for them by begging, looking needy or manipulation. When there are no men around and something is not working as expected they will try having another woman solving the issue and when that fails they will try to manipulate the groups perception of said other woman in a bad way, in the end they will blame each other for what they couldn't do as proven in the show.

So that's why we as men ask for respect when we take care of women in a relationship.

Yeah, I always end up becoming the guy standing next to the leader. It works so I’m not really complaining in that front. When it comes to stuff like this what people need to realize is humanity developed hierarchy for a reason. It worked in the early days of humanity, so it ended up surviving into more modern civilization. We might not necessarily need this form of structure now that survival is easy, but it existed for a reason. Believe it or not, those cave men that decided “men do this, women do that, internal power is divided like this, ” didn’t pull the idea out of thin air. They were smarter than people think.

They do not work together because they feel differently about the problem and try to come to a general consensus on how to get around the problem. That’s why women failed on that island. Women do things by committee and have no central leader. Men find out who knows how to fix the problem and follow his lead.
