Good Air coolers are only like $40 + thermal paste. Getting an expensive CPU, then buying a cheap cooler is like getting a $1200 phone, but using the temu charger

Personally, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it. I’ve used one before you just need pretty good airflow in your case and a decent fan set up. In my opinion. Nice video.

Yeah my Ryzen 5 7500f idles around 55 with the stock cooler and usually goes up to 62-65 while gaming. Ambient temps are pretty hot where I live though usually in the high 20s to low-mid 30s

I onky use passive Heatsinks. No noise and helps to keep the house warm.

Stock coolers can absolutely manage any CPU they come with. That's the begining and the end of that story.
Use a headgear if you find noise annoying while gaming, or turn your speaker up. You usually have a volume knob attached to them.

The Wraith Prism that comes with the R7-7700 is a fantastic cooler. I've used one with my R7-5800X3D for almost two years now.

Well, stock coolers are good for... you guessed it, stock settings of a CPU. If you want to overclock, aftermarket ftw. All I can say is that undervolting a CPU and still getting good performance out of it is my preference.

I recommend going with cooler master ML240L V2. It's a cheap liquid cooler and provides everything you need. By the time I wrote this comment, it was 59.99 dollars

This so true, i found out today using a stock cooler with i7 12700 is pretty bad.. idle speed at 40°C but when i playgames with it it went from 40 to 100 in no time. Im looking for some good coolers in my town rn. If i cant find any im gonna buy it online.

havent used intel in ages so i cant speak for them, but if amd includes a stock cooler with your chip, it can handle it, and you should probably just use it. they dont bother including stock coolers with chips that need extra cooling.

never had a problem with temps with a stock cooler on multiple amd cpus. however, if you care about the volume of your pc they can be bad

On my dedicated streaming pc I use the AMD stock cooler with a 3900xt & it cools it's perfectly. Don't shy away from stock or cheap air coolers. Save the money for more important things like RGB 🌈 😂

I was getting 90c on my cpu 1 year after I built my PC, I cleaned it but the problem persisted. Could have changed the thermal paste but nah the stock cooler just wasn't cutting it for the 5600x no brainer to get a $30 cooler
