I suffered with an aesthetically pleasing sketchbook for years. I refused to make mistakes, I felt like it was my portfolio. It felt so good when I took a page and just doodled all over it and tested colors. It was like I was breaking free. 😌

I feel like if any of us don’t face our responsibilities, Sam is going to go Duolingo on us…

Marco Bucci is THE GOAT. I've watched all of his videos on light and shadow, and his video about hands caused me to go from drawing very mid to bad hands to drawing great ones. Just by following the video as it was going and doing some of the exercises he told me to do while watching I literally got so much better at drawing hands immediately after watching it. Literally got great in a day.

I have a question : how do you make seamless transitions from a neon color to a light color

For aesthetic sketchbooks, I’ve got a cheap sketchbook for whatever doodles I feel like doing, then I have my aesthetic one where I glue the ones I like and arrange them, it helps with the fear of non aesthetic thing

Love that you're using more graphic edits to show your inner suffering after seeing these TikTok videos xD
You're doing a good job, Mr. Editor!

12:30 for the clip studio paint user out there: Don't use the blurbrush, there is a better way: Select the thing you want to blur with the lasso tool, then go to *filter* and select the *gaussian blur* or if you want more movement you can select *motion blur* (you can also pick how blurred you want something to be) 😊

I’ve been stuck for SO LONG about which shadows should be soft and which should be hard edge, but that Marco Bucci tip has blown my mind! Gonna start that asap!

I definitely noticed the difference in the editing of this particular video. Excellent visuals and adjustment throughout! Love how it maintains the viewer's attention and accentuates certain things that you said.

As a fourteen year old artist, i suffer with art. I started my channel to have people tell me how to be better. Now i just post for fun because that's what art should be. It shouldn't ever be considered bad every piece i make i hate, and that's fine because i had fun making it. Now i want to get better at art because it's something i like and enjoy. It's a hobby. I've never dripped and never will. People in my family who stopped drawing because of work and stuff were really good. They stopped art, and they art is stunted. Anyone can draw. it's just the fact that you have to be willing to sit down and pick up a pencil. Art is bad, but when you try to be better, it is amazing. ❤

With regard to the eye thing, i think you forget that traditional artists don't necessarily get the position perfect first time. That means erasing a perfect eye to redraw it from scratch. Which can get annoying.
