That's really impressive, but it's not how a tractor beam works and is hardly going to provide any real pulling power. It relies entirely on the target object having very specific and specially designed characteristics.

So this could be how a “flying saucer” works. A much more advanced version of course. This would explain their shape, shoot a laser inside out in the opposite direction you want to travel.

this vaguely relates to a beam of light the size of a four football field i saw years ago it was a clear night sky i was doing Security outside a Parking Lot, it was around 10:45 when the street lights went out for hours, it was somewhat a windy night as I've checked my time at that moment for a nanosecond a flash lit up the whole ground that's when i looked up to my astonishment, the morning after my wife and her friends were all talking about seeing a "light" around the same time in the same direction the beam was seen.

This could never happen because steel is heavier than laser light.
