What switch and nollie tricks are y’all trying to learn?

I decided not to progress past ollies until I was able to ollie equally well in all stances. I've found that learning to do a trick/maneuver both ways at the same time is much more efficient. After you get comfortable with a trick, you forget how hard it used to be, and you forget the process that you went through to learn it. If you learn to do things both ways at the same time, you can compare what you're doing with each foot, and the process stays fresh in your mind.

Yeah I’m about 10 years in and I’m just now starting to skate switch and nollie. It is a huge struggle. I feel like I’m starting all over again.

Agree 100% - been skating on and off for over 10 years and I really regret only starting to focus on some switch skating in the last year. Having kept to one side so long as created some obvious physical imbalances I’ve had to slowly work through. Improving your board control switch has a great side effect of making your regular skating better. Switch push everywhere 🔥

Sick! I learned nollie halfcab flips pretty fast because I did nollie varial flips alot and just made my self turn 180 with the varial flip and it started working.

I've been back into skating for a few months after I did it a lot in my teens. Trying to do it 'right' this time around and that includes practicing switch early! I spend 15-20 mins per hour long sesh just riding around switch -- I still find it super awkward to pop switch, can't explain it, my foot just doesn't want to do it, but the riding around is becoming a lot more comfortable so I guess it will just take time for the popping to be natural lol

Beautiful backdrop. If I lived where you are, I'd be outside practicing every minute.

Dude you are amazing. I've been getting better at switch ollies everytime I practice. But my body really trips out on a nollie. ? Anyway, this video gives me strength, thank you, bro.

I don’t have any friends to skate with so being motivated to skate switch is kinda hard. I still try and practice whenever I remember though xD

Hey Sean! i really really want to be a good skater but i can't do tricks yet. I am like scared all the time that iam going to fall that's why i can't commit... i always fall on my back. but maybe i need to accept that it is a part of skating. I can ollie with skatertrainers on cause then i feel very comfortable on the board. do you have tips for me to get comfortable on the board and don't be scared anymore and that i can try tricks moving or just without skater trainers. Greets, Jens
