How To Not Look Like A Complete Beginner

I was thinking to myself, if I saw a skater pushing down the street, what are the ways that I would be able to tell them apart from someone who had just picked up a board for the first time? So, I decided to go over a few of the main points that I came up with. Basically, if you don't know anything about skating but you manage to learn all or even some of the things in this video, you're one step closer to giving off that "skater vibe".

Oh yeah, and I realize that this video is very similar to my "10 Things Beginners Should Know How To Do Well" video, and I didn't realize that until I had already filmed but, I'm hoping I made this one different enough to be worth it.

My advice. If your a beginner skater at a skatepark. Don't pretend you know what your doing. Today was my first day in a skate park and I looked awful but the guys there were nice and helped me out

Being a beginner is a good thing. It means you finally decided to join a badass brotherhood of awesome people who enjoy the same activity. We all start somewhere

I just started skating and the first thing i found out is that confidence is really key. Don’t try to pretend you’re all experienced or know anything about it, just own that you’re a beginner and be honest and confident about it. If you do that you’ll not only learn way faster, you’ll also find out that most people don’t even care.

just a reminder to anyone learning...it’s okay to look like a beginner if you are one! as long as you’re having fun it doesn’t matter, everyone learns at their own pace and at the end of the day everyone was a beginner at one point
