Bless you for showing me all this. I hadn't the faintest idea what this bit was for, and the manual didn't tell... appreciate it, cheers.

This video answered all my questions especially if this attachment fits the my cordless dremel which you use in your video, you explain things in manner that is very easy to understand and include important details that make a difference in properly operating the tool and in a safely manner.

First, thanks for the informative video, I do appreciate the time and effort you have expended to bring us, random strangers, some useful knowledge. Thank you.

Second, I just want to make a quick comment about the one of the ads I saw during this video, not that we will see the same ads as everybody else when watching any particular video, but I am rather certain that anybody who watches a few videos on YouTube will undoubtedly be confronted by this ad. This ad is about the young engineer who worked for a car company, specifically researching ways to make vehicles more fuel efficient.

One day, he discovers that the software controlling the fuel usage is causing the vehicles to use too much fuel. He informed his boss of his findings, thinking that he would be praised, and possibly receive a promotion. Instead, he was fired.

Allegedly, after being fired, he discovered that all vehicles manufactured today use this old, outdated software, so he decides to take his discovery, and build a tool that plugs into the OBD port of modern vehicles that would correct the software, making one's engine more fuel efficient, hence saving the driver thousands of dollars every year.

The ad continues about how Big Oil doesn't want the public to have such a device, and so they were sued by Big Oil, and now they can no longer sell their product in stores legally, so it is only available online (something right there smells fishy to me). In an attempt to persuade consumers to run out and purchase one of these, they continue with that little sob story about how Big Oil is also pursuing legal means to prevent them from selling the gadget online, and it looks like Big Oil would win such a case. Thus, these gadgets will not be available for much longer, so you better hurry up and order one today.

Okay, here's a further issue which I am surprised I never realized previously. Let's assume these gadgets work, whether or not they work well is moot, but they work to some degree. Okay, you, the consumer, is suppose to rush and order one ASAP, so you can reap the rewards from owning such a money-saving product. Great, but we already know if such a gadget did exist, Big Oil wouldn't want that . . . that is if the whole story about outdated software is not fiction. Now, the gadget sellers are insinuating that if you hurry and order one of their gadgets today, then you'll be set for the life of said gadget. However, with Big Oil in the picture, and with them suing the manufacturers to prevent the sell of their gadgets in stores, and then a secondary suit to prevent online sales, they would still want to address all the consumers who have managed to acquire these gadgets prior to them making them illegal. So, why would they not alter the software on vehicles to render those gadgets useless. If everything in this ad was true, then what? Being a consumer, you order one, receive it, use it for a month or two, maybe six, and then its useless? I think the whole story behind the product is rather suspicious to me, but for the sake of argument, if everything is true in the advertisement, then are the people who are ordering this product not realizing that Big Oil would soon render all the gadgets that managed to be sold completely useless?

Just something to consider prior to purchasing . . . somewhat akin to all those get rich quick schemes. If those schemes really work, then why do you want to increase your competition, and sell the scheme to the general public??? Logic thrown completely out of the window!!!

Thanks for this video. It's very useful. Helped me learn a lot.
I use a Proxxon rotary tool which doesn't have the threaded nose cone that the Dremel has. Any idea if, without the threads, I'd be able to attach to my Proxxon?
Thanks for any suggestions : )

This attachment is great for plaster ceiling and walls. If you're an electrician and need to install led waffle lights this attachment will save you from having to repair a plaster ceiling or have the customer fix it.
I use this attachment with a tile cutter bit for the initial plaster cut out. The change the bit to remove the wood latch behind the plaster and you'll have a clean hole and no need to repair the ceiling
