Did you notice I said the word “Accessory” wrong? If you look through the comments you will see it has been pointed out a fair amount of times. I am dyslexia and this affects my reading, writing, and pronunciation of words sometimes. At this point, I can’t change how I said the word in this video. I will try better for future videos and hope you can still see value in this one. Thanks, Steph

I have watched several videos on the Dremel and yours inspired me the most! You put it to practical use and showed what the bits do! I'd like to see a more videos like showing off different bits and their uses. Thanks so much!!!

So glad I found this video first. I do a lot of DIY stuff and use various power tools and I just bought my first Dremel for no other reason than I wanted to. Obviously I have no idea how to use it and this video is so much easier than the manual. Thanks for taking the time to make it.

My Dremel is from the 50s-60s and was my grand dads. The darn thing still works! The "Kit No 2" is amazing and came with everything!

When using a Dremel please everyone always wear dust mask, , goggles or safety glasses and some kind of work gloves. The Dremel creates very fine dust and breathing that in can have long-term health effects. also especially when using a cutting wheel always wear gloves and safety glasses. Cutting wheels break very often and shrapnel from the cutting wheel itself can end up in your hands and other parts of your body incase they break and they often do. except when using a reinforced wheel which has the fiberglass reinforcement and don't break is easy. But still you should have gloves and goggles on and always wear a dust mask. Another good idea is to lockdown any piece you're working on I see that she's using her hands and that gives you less control over the Dremel and usually not as high quality of product in your work. This is not a critique of this video. these women are awesome and really have cool ideas it's just something I noticed and is very important to do

Concerning the Dremel flex with mini router:

Had asked husband to refresh me on exactly what you explained & demonstrated. I found your vid & I'm sticking with you two. He can go build another woodshed. You are now my go to Dremel instructors.🙂👍Thanks much.

I 100% came here because, as you said in the first minute, I had a Dremel (rotary tool :) ) and was like "I have this thing and I know it can do everything but what the heck do I do with it?" I was so delighted when you said that! Also, my daughter is dyslexic too. :)

I use the dremmel on the bottom of my feet and corns. I don’t go to hard, just enough pressure and then I disinfect my feet after and later put some coconut oil on them. I don’t use the bit on anything else . I fell in love with the possibilities when I first bought a nail grinder for my dog and noticed what it is, I then headed over to Home Depot on bought the whole shebang.

I have two Dremels, a 300 & a 4000! I bought the 4000 when the 300 suddenly stopped working, & I was in the middle of an important job. But I managed to repair the 300, which had 2 faults, a bad field coil assembly & a faulty speed switch. Out of the two, the 300 is my favourite, although the 4000 is more powerful & has a wider speed range. My favourite accessories at the moment are the SpeedClic 'Scotchbrite'-style polishers 511S & 512S, which are great for polishing coins & jewellery.

Love this channel. It's great to see more & more women doing home reno, DIY projects etc. Just a tip though, please wear your safety gear (eye, ear, hands protection etc) in your videos as not everyone may think to do this especially if they are first time DIYers so if they see you wearing safety gear others are more likely to as well. I've seen the end results of when things go horribly wrong when safety gear wasn't worn during these kinds & many more of these projects. Have subscribed, can't wai to see the rest & hopefully many more videos in the future.👍

Just bought a Dremel today for the first time. I needed it in a emergency and it came through. I had to cut off a fastener in a very tight place. I'm a fan now.

I'm considering buying one of these and your video was very helpful, thank you! I am wondering about safety gear while using it, though.

I tried putting on the polisher using the method you showed, but it was too loose to spin. Maybe mine is a sanding specific dremel tool. Thanks for showing.

Hi guys, can you tell me with the right router attachment of the straight & circle cutter and of course the spiral wood cutting bit, can one cut plywood or any softwood 1/2 thick or something thicker than 5mm with this Dremel 8220?
