"And _yes, _ I even remember you. Time travel. Practical application."
That line chills me to the bone each and every time.

For an AI computer to tell me after spending 800, 000 years in solitude, then say, "I even remember you". That'd send chills down my spine.

800, 000 years later and the Photonic is still functioning just fine. That's some real top quality craftsmanship on how he was built.

"If you don't like the answers, you should avoid asking the questions" - real wisdom here.

Self awareness + immortality is a real bitch. Brilliantly played by Orlando Jones.

I would watch a whole film about the Librarian, he was so cool. Can you imagine he has been there for 800 thousand years, his information is anecdotal and yet is correct, so he has had contact with humans on and off. Imagine him being a legend and yet sought out by people who had questions they needed an answer for.

The photonic had a good ending though, teaching the current generation on education, which will lead to an era of rebuilding mankind.

Orlando Jones was on screen for maybe 5 minutes total, and he "knocked it out of the park"!

'can you even imagine what is like to remember everything?' - that script is so wise as well as philosophical.

I love that in 800, 000 years, he grew beyond his programming and became sentient, if not a little eccentric as well.

Programmer 1: Should we give him angst?
Programmer 2: Sure, throw in sass while you're at it.
Programmer 1: Is that a good idea?
Programmer 2: _shrug_ People like relatability.

The fact that the photonic man's system survived for so long, and the fact that he still has a makeshift shelter over his head must mean that there were people through the millennia protecting and preserving him, given the massive environmental alterations that have taken place. It's more than likely that he has interacted with many people, probably even many of the Eloi, else how else would his system have been preserved for so long?

Why isn't Orlando Jones in more movies? He's a really good actor....

Orlando Jones is the best thing about this movie. And it's such a relatively small role but he absolutely nails it in every way.

I feel Photonic's pain. Thanks to my autism, I am able to remember a great many things and it is impossible to get them out of my head.

Orlando Jones is so undervalued, such a strong performance that kept me coming back to this film.
