Scotty, I am 70 now and have had 8 motorcycles in my lifetime. Too many close calls with sleepy drivers. Sold my last one about 6 year ago to save my health. I really do miss riding them though. What a great feeling it was..

I have improved gas mileage by basic maintenance things, like changing PCV valves, air filters, keeping my mass air flow sensor clean. Oh, and keeping the tires inflated properly with cold pressures matching the rating in the driver's door jamb

My 2017 Accord Touring V6 has nearly 300hp and gets 35 mpg at 70 mph. Best V6 ever made.

Yeah I get 52 miles a gallon on my motorcycle. It's pretty nice not having to worry about traffic (I split lanes), or parking. But it certainly comes at a price.

Traded my old 4 cylinder Honda for a 4WD Xterra. I love it to death but to say the difference in fuel efficiency is noticeable and dramatic (especially today) would be an understatement.

Hints for best gas mileage in any vehicle: #1 - your driving habits will effect your gas mileage drastically - example: smooth normal acceleration from a full stop and reducing your top speed on the highway ( 60 mph max ) #2 - your tires must be at the correct air pressure as written on the sticker on the drivers door opening. #3 - the engine must be in proper maintained condition ( new air filter and regular oil changes etc ) #4 - clean your MAS Mass Flow Air Sensor with the correct spray cleaner every 40000 miles - see YT videos to learn how. I hope this is helpful.

I'm lucky to get 18mpg in my 30-year-old truck. LOL It's okay - it has been paid for a long time now.

I just don’t have my windows open, don’t use ac, and get any useless weight off

I had a Suzuki DR200 dual sport that I changed the front sprocket on to get some more speed. I got a best of 99 miles per gallon with that. My Honda NC700x get's over 80 mpg all the time - one fuel injector for two cylinders, tall gearing and a low red line make it possible.

My 2012 Chevy Sonic with a 1.4 L engine 6 speed manual gets between 37 and 40 mpg. My Indian motorcycle gets 32 mpg.

I learned to drive a stick in a 1976 CJ 5 with a 304 V8 set up for drag racing. On a good day it got no more than 7 mpg. If you drove it hard, 5 was common. I’m happy when my 2003 suburban gets 15!

What also helps is; Keep your tires properly inflated and check them from time to time. Change your air filter X 5000 miles same for oil change / filter. Another big thought most drivers don't think of is to empty the damn trunk out. Just keep essentials...

What about aerodynamics? I think that means more than power to weight ratio, especially at highway speeds. The gas mileage in the Lexus isn't going to soar if you strip the weight down cause it's shaped like a thumb.

In January I bought a Honda shadow 600 VLX. I love the 55+ mpg and fun factor. I do worry about the Helen Kellers on the road.

My 2 ton Crown Vic w/ a V8 is paid for & I feel safe in it. I'm putting safety before money, so I can see my grandkids grow up.😲😲😲

My 4 vehicles are an average of 14 years old. It doesn't matter the mileage. They're all paid for and all work. And ya, no Toyotas. That's why they're 14 and flawless.

Just bought a v6 before all this all started 😅

I find small trucks with midsized engines work well over time. The Toyota 22R was the basic badass
