What happens when we face death - and return to tell the tale? Today’s guest takes us on an extraordinary journey from advanced cancer to complete recovery, challenging our understanding of both healing and human consciousness.

Anita Moorjani is the New York Times best-selling author of Dying to Be Me: My Journey From Cancer, To Near Death, To True Healing and travels the world speaking to sold-out audiences who want to learn about her journey and experiences of embracing change, the power of healing, and the quest to live a full and unlimited life.

Anita’s story is an extraordinary one. After a 4-year battle with cancer, she fell into a coma and was given days to live. As her doctors gathered to revive her, she had a near-death experience (NDE) where she believes she crossed over to the other side and when she regained consciousness, her cancer began to heal. To the amazement of her doctors, she was free of countless tumours and cancer indicators within weeks.

In this powerful conversation, Anita explains how living fearlessly, cultivating self-love, and embracing joy became her pathway to healing. We discuss how people-pleasing, lack of self-worth, and suppressing our authentic selves can negatively impact our wellbeing. And, we also explore her wonderful concept of "energy equity" - a practical framework for understanding how our daily choices either nurture our energy or deplete it.

As a medical doctor, I found our discussion about the limitations of current medical knowledge particularly fascinating. We explore how cases like Anita's invite us to expand our understanding of healing and human potential.

This conversation goes beyond an extraordinary medical case. It offers practical wisdom for anyone seeking to live more authentically and create positive change in their lives. You may be sceptical - something Anita and I talk about - but I urge you to listen with an open mind. This episode challenges our assumptions about healing while offering hope for a more fulfilled life.

I have read and studied NDEs for 40 yrs...its awesome. And I have lived fearlessly my entire life due to my extreme loss of my mother to suicide when I was 10yrs. I had nothing more to lose. I went for it and A tragic, fantastic, wonderful life💛✨️✨️✨️

I'm weeping as i watch this because when you talk about yourself before you got cancer you are describing me. An excessive people pleaser, never want to bother people, always putting myself last, etc.

This brought tears to my eyes because I’ve always felt like a lone wolf amongst my peers as I witnessed these miracles amongst my patients and have no one in my work in medicine to talk to. It’s amazing thank you I feel so validated

Its mystical, i had bought the book Dying to be me, almost 6 years ago and i was lying on my daughters bookshelf for years now .
I love to hear podcasts and soul enriching experiences of people on youtube .
Just 2 days ago i was going through the shelf abe re- read the name of the book Dying to be me .
After i finished hearing this podcast i realised it was a mystical experience to have heard the entire podcast of Anita and finding the same book on my shelf just in a span of 2 days .

The most cohesive conversation. Both matched each other's energy and flow and this was the first time I've seen it between two people in a podcast. And the depth of the conversation was second to none I've ever seen. Beautiful! Would love to see more!

Great interview! Have discovered her years ago, but was so good to hear her again. I'm afraid I've mostly done things the past few years, that drain my energy. 2020 was a big wake-up call, and I needed to do lots of research. It left me drained and tired and sick. Right now I feel like what's the point? This planet is hell, run by Criminals, by greed and by really, really disturbed people. Almost feels like what's the point in dancing or singing on the Titanic, it's going down. The only thing that still gives me some hope is listening to NDE's, there is a Creator, and God is love and love is God. If it wasn't for that, and some things I was shown by a Yogi, I'd be suicidal! So, thank you! For shining a bit of light!

Thank you Dr. Chatterjee and Anita for being fearless by having this interview. The implication of all NDE's is that we do not die when the body dies. Our true essence is eternal, we will never die. We are this eternal essence now. We are not what we think we are or believe ourselves to be (aka ego). The ego is everything we be(lie)ve ourselves to be, but aren't. We are individually and collectively waking up to this truth (spiritual awakening) or remembering this, who we truly are. "Know Thyself". To know this truth, experientially is to experience Heaven on Earth, the peace that passes all understanding. To know we do not need to fear physical death frees us up to live fearlessly and to trust our own hearts, and in the process of life. 💗

Just realised whilst watching this that what i wondered always. Mean people live the longest because they love themselves. Its the emotional martyrs that have a short life always. So i hear your message about JUST LOVE YOURSELF FEARLESSLY. No one can love you more or better than you yourself! 🎉

My Dad passed from cancer and after he had gone into a coma, a few days later, he could hear what I was saying to the receptionist down the corridor. I know this because he surprised us all and suddenly said to me “I heard what you said to the receptionist”. His eyes didn’t open when he said this and he didn’t move. The coma state continued until he passed. So when someone passes their hearing gets stronger and stronger and is the last function to go

As a MD myself, I can relate to your “hesitate” bringing such a topic on your show. But being on your path of integrity, this is so great and absolutely heartwarming ❤️🙏❤️ Well done. Thank you. 1:06:39

Some things are not meant to be known, until we pass. If this doesn’t make you believe in a higher power, I don’t know what will

I read Anita‘s book many years ago when it first came out and I’ve heard several interviews with her. Her story is amazing but I have to say for me. This is one if not, the best interview just goes to show. You can hear a person tell the same story, but a really really good interview or can make even more that of a difference. Thank you.

I do not even know if I would be alive in case of not knowing Anita’s ideas since about 4 years… Cause I am very sensitive, what is a gift definitely but it is very hard to find your way how to deal with it in our world with so much competition, violence, greed etc.
Ideas like Anita is talking about are really great for sensitive people, and generally for our world.
The interviewer made this conversation very powerful and inspiring, he is a great man.
