Utah family is 'praying for miracles' after two girls hit by car

The Spanish Fork community is rooting for the recovery of two girls who were hit by a car over the weekend. Those girls are hospitalized at Primary Children’s, where both families have been staying by their sides.

Update. Unfortunately Regan died few days ago 😭. Olivia will make a full recovery but is heartbroken that her best friend won’t be with her anymore. Rip Regan

If you guys didn’t hear, Reagan the 13 year old girl, did pass away on June 11th. She was stuck in a medical induced coma that the doctors said that she most likely will never wake up from. They took her off life support and were able to donate multiple of her organs to children in need successfully. She joined her father in heaven. ❤

Reagan died on June 11th after 23 days. From KSL:

“Tonight at 5:22 pm Reagan was able to end 3 horrible weeks of suffering and join her Father in Heaven. She had 90 min from the removal of life support to be able to donate her organs. She fought until the end and at 88 min she left us. She was able to donate her organs and tissues. To know that other suffering children will be able to live, to see, to walk is the only joy in any of this. To say she will be missed is the understatement of the year. I love you Reagan and miss you forever until we meet again.”

Both the girls had serious, critical injuries and were taken to Primary Children’s Hospital. Olivia returned from the hospital on May 28 and remains at home recovering.

My sister was 9 years old and the same thing happened to her... She was in a coma for 2 weeks and did make a recovery. Unfortunately as an adult I feel that her life was stolen. She's not the person that she would have grown to be had this not happened. Brain injury is a bizarre thing, and I pray that they recover😢

I lived in Utah most of my life. I moved away to Montana and one big reason was the aggressive, horrible drivers. It’s a different world in MT. EVERYONE stops for pedestrians, people use their signals and also allow you to merge, people go the speed limit.
I hope these girls recover quickly
