Early pregnancy is certainly a nerve-wracking time for most of us, especially those of us that have experienced a miscarriage before. Believe it or not, the symptoms of cramping in pregnancy and even more surprisingly the symptom of bleeding in early pregnancy can both be normal and not indicate a cause for concern for a miscarriage. This video will discuss at what point these two symptoms can actually be a cause for concern and what to do about it.

I am so glad you posted again! I truly trust your expertise on childbirth and have watched your videos several times over the last year as I prepare to deliver my 3rd baby 13 months postpartum from my 2nd. I so wish we lived in the same area.

I had cramps that got worse over the day. No bleeding until I lost my precious little girl at 17 weeks. Everyone said if there was bleeding and cramps but no one ever seems to mention not bleeding until baby has already come out.

Just miscarried yesterday. All I had was bleeding, very heavy, no cramping at all. My doctor was shocked. It started as spotting over a week, it looked “normal”. I was 7 weeks and 6 days. 😞

Had a miscarriage last month. The day before I was cramping and slightly bleeding. But it stopped. The day of I had an ultrasound and they said I looked fine and just have pelvic rest. That afternoon I started bleeding during my physical therapy for my knee and kept on bleeding and then that night the cramping started getting worse and I had a miscarriage.

I experienced spotting in the beginning and the actual cramping didn't come until I later, the same day I miscarried pieces of my uterine lining along with 7 weeks old baby

I was asked why I didn't come earlier, why did I wait so long (I was spotting for 2 weeks)...
